The new improved triplet bedroom!!
Ok, so after yesterday's nap time trouble, I met Dave at Babies R Us later in the afternoon. We spent a great deal of time in the crib section. I had been over several times and we kind of knew what we wanted - nothing too expensive, but definitely going to hold up for a few years. It was really hard to find three cribs in a reasonable price range. A few we liked only had one or two in stock. The cheapest ones seemd to look exactly that- cheap and not made to last! We decided on two exactly the same for the boys and Jess would get one the same color just not the same make. Then as we were checking out, the one we picked for Jess was not actually in stock! The guy who was helping us pick out the cribs was sorry, but he read the number of the box in back wrong. He found us another crib, a little more money, but the same color as the boys. Decision time, get the third crib or wait til the one was back in stock. Dave did not care so was no help with the desicion. In the end we got a better deal buying all three. We got 20% off the boys cribs and 25% off Jess' to help offset the additional cost!! They were very helpful and really tried to stay within my price range. We got 10% multiples discount and opend the charge card for the other 10%. Jess' extra was a 15% off coupon that they found for me to use!! All in all after cribs, mesh bumpers, a crib mattress(purchased at Walmart) we spent just under $750.00 YIKES!!! However, all three cribs convert into toddler type day beds so we won't need twin beds for quite some time. Dave and Lucas did a great job putting the cribs together in record time - about 20 min per crib! I am so glad I married a guy who is part handyman!! (love ya hon!) The trio slept in them last night and did really well.
Will certainly enjoys not being bothered by his brother!
Logan seems a bit sad with no brother to bother, but enjoys rolling all around!
Jessica is loving all the space!!
