Intro.

Kris and Dave met 19 years ago while Kris was in college and Dave was on his first of several enlistments in the Navy. We have 4 beautiful kids. Lucas is 16 and he is the best big brother ever! He loves his brothers and sister. He has been waiting a very long time to be the "big brother".

William, Logan and Jessica were born Oct.25 2007 at 33 weeks and 5 days! They only spent 10 days in the NICU and came home on their big brother's birthday- Nov. 5 !! This blog will be about the ins and outs of our crazy life.

We are Still Moving!

I know it has been a while, but want to update everyone. The new house is great! We are still spending another weekend unloading the old house and finishing the setup of the new. Dave got the internet up and I thought I should take a few minutes. Moving with 3 toddlers is a lot of extra work! The kids like their new room and are adjusting pretty well. I still need to spend some time and enter the change of email and address everywhere, but I will be trying to get back to regulat posting this week.
This is Jess helping me under the sink put away stuff! LOL

Moving is dirty business, but the new tub works great!

We are Finally Moving!

Yes, finally after the endless wait, we accepted a 4 bedroom house in base housing in Groton!

We got the keys today but plan on spending the the next week and 1/2 moving in, since we are paid here until the 28Th. This move is on our own so we are going to do it the cheapest way possible - many trips with the van and borrowing people and their vehicles. It is a bit smaller than what we are in right now, but will definitely be more economical for us. The floor plan is more open so the trio will have more room to roam without too many gates! They will also use the 4Th bedroom as a playroom! I also plan to take this time and try to get rid of a lot of junk. We will only be there 15 months until Dave retires! WOO HOO! Dave is getting my mom tomorrow to come help us (watching the trio while we make trips back and forth in return for a night at the casino!)
Lucas is excited, but nervous about switching schools, but I think it may be just the fresh start he needs. Let's hope for the best.
My blogging will be minimal while we are in transition, but I promise to try to keep everyone updated and will post pics soon!

Monday Update A Day Late

I know I usually post on Monday mornings, but I was gone all morning for blood work and then a doctor visit. I was out the door at 6:00am, off to curves to workout and then to Groton for the rest of the morning. Dave stayed home with the trio and I got home right before nap. I was exhausted and took a nap myself! Turns out that I am fighting off something as today my throat is killing me and my voice is awful. I have a couple things to tell you so I'll get to it!

YOU ARE INVITED ----
I hope you noticed the March for Babies widget on the side of the blog. We are planning on walking in Groton in April and would love for you join our team: Got Triplets? and walk with us! If you are not local we would love to have you sponsor us! Just click the link and you can help! This is a cause that is very near to us since the trio arrived almost 7 weeks early. Remember this - I think it says it all!

I have other HUGE news! We are going to look at 4 bedroom houses near base on Thursday! Dave finally got the letter we needed to accept housing! WOOHOO!!!! He still does not have his final set of orders, but we can move into housing with the letter. I am soo excited and nervous. It seems like this will all happen very quickly and there is a ton to do! (as if I was not already busy with 3 toddlers!LOL)I will take photos of the new place and update you all on Thursday!

Lucas' New Haircut

We decided to let Lucas choose his new haircut as a reward for the great report card. I usually make him get a "normal" regular boy haircut, but he has wanted a Mohawk for quite some time. I was thinking about this summer, but since he did so well, Dave and I decided that if he wanted the haircut he could get it now. I think it will need to grow on me, but it is actually kinda cool. What do you think?

He really loves it and can't wait to show it off at school on Monday! We also told him that if his grades keep improving, I need to see A's and B's, he can get the new pet lizard that he really, really wants! He has been researching bearded dragons and is very excited. (What was I thinking?) LOL

Just had to Share!

Logan fell asleep eating lunch, so afterwards Will had to go make sure he was OK! LOL

What else can I report -

Will is getting his 4TH molar in and is extra cranky and clingy - hope it doesn't last too much longer. That brings him to 12 teeth! Jess has 8 and poor Logan has 6.

We had to take everyone's cribs down to the lowest level. They look funny, but I feel better that everyone can not reach over the edge anymore. I have a funny feeling that crib tents are in our very near future!

Dave finished our taxes and is filing them today. We are getting a nice chunk of change back so I am looking forward to buying a choo choo wagon and picnic table for the trio, some new clothes for Lucas that he really needs and then paying off some bills. I am also still hopeful that our move to Groton will be very soon, so I will keep some tucked away for moving expenses!

I am having more blood work done on Monday along with a quick procedure to rule out any major issues, so Dave got the day off work to take care of the trio. Most people take a day off work to relax, but poor Dave is going to be very busy! LOL The doc I talked with seemed to think I have a problem with insulin resistance. I hope to know more at the end of the month as all the lab work comes back and I meet with her to discuss what the next step should be.

It is finally supposed to get a little warmer here so maybe we will venture out of the house soon! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
